    It's alright.

Had a little trouble ordering because Botach never shows things in stock accurately and unfortunately ended up paying for two as they wouldn't cancel the first order that they said would be back ordered for months and they arrived days apart. First off, I was shopping for a bump helmet for a nvg mounting host and ran across this. My thoughts were why not get a questionably bulletproof helmet instead since it costs the same as a quality bump helmet, if it's not actually lvl 3 at least it's the same price.. For this purpose this helmet fits the bill. As for the helmet... The arc rails are way out of spec. Pretty much unusable but they're a cheap part to replace. The pads are terrible. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Made out of hard Coleman gas station beer cooler foam. A slightly more expensive piece to replace. The suspension wasn't too bad, it works but there's better out there for sure and I replaced that also. I didn't even try the shroud after seeing the quality of the rest and went ahead and replaced that too. Each of the two helmets also had different fasteners which I thought was odd. Also, one of the helmets shroud holes were drilled incorrectly causing it to be slightly rotated. In conclusion I wish they just sold the helmet shell and took a bit of the price off as you essentially need to replace everything anyways. It works for the purpose I needed. Instead of a quality non ballistic bump helmet I got a chineesium questionably ballistic lvl3 helmet for $250 shipped plus another hundred or two to replace everything but the shell. Would I recommend? I would say yes considering today's prices for a used and abused ACH going for triple what I paid for this and it's already high cut. There's ballistic test reviews on YouTube but being a "headbutt a keyboard to create the brand's name" company from China you can't really count on this being the same product as those in the tests. It could be made out of compacted Cheeto dust and asbestos for all we know whereas with a quality brand you can count on it's ballistic rating without question. But, as previously stated, it serves the purpose of a bump helmet with *possibly* being able to stop up to a 44 mag. And yes, I know you're thinking "just shoot the second helmet and test it" the second helmet was gifted away.

    Longfri helmet

Good helmet for the price. I haven't tested it to see if it's 111 a. But feels like the materials are good quality. The only negative is the chin strap. It could use an upgrade.

    Longfri ballistic helmet

Feels like good quality and has a good fit. I like the adjustable strap. I don't know how well it holds up to ballistic testing and I'm not going to try it. I'll just have to trust the company.

    Nice quality helmet

I purchased this helmet in order to be able to obviously protect my head, and also incorporate electronic hearing protection. I had an old MICH helmet which drops down over the ears, and wouldn’t allow for hearing protection other than earplugs. This helmet also allows me to incorporate night vision in the future if I can scrape up the money for that large purchase. I’ve seen some of the ballistic reviews on this helmet and it’s pretty good but I’m hoping that I never have to test it out for real. I really like the dial adjustment at the back of the harness to fit it to my head because I have a head on the smaller side and was a little bit worried because these were considered medium to large. But typically I wear a small medium hat/helmet. Rather than roll the dice on some mystery helmet on the web, I went with Bosch after seeing good reviews for this one, on YouTube.

    Superb Value

Fit is snug. Consider half size larger. Eg: size large head, try XL

    Helmet

This helmet is awesome. For the price of this helmet it is absolutely the best option if you're looking for a reasonably priced helmet. Pretty much all other ballistic helmets advertised at this price point are scams. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thank you again Botach for providing reasonably priced exceptional gear. God Bless.

    Helmet

Replacing the retention and pads is a must, but overall cost coming to 450 ish is pretty good. Save some cash over other cheap helmets if your just going to throw team Wendy pads in anyway.

I use this for training and bad weather.

    Helmet is amazing

I haven't had a chance to test it, but this helmet is light and super comfortable. I hope it's 111A as described. Couldn't be happier with the price.
