The BATTLE STEEL carbine railed forend is a high-quality 2-piece Picatinny forend for the AR/M4-type carbines that replaces the weapon's stock forend allowing the user to mount a variety of accessories.

Machined to military specification hard-anodized aluminum, they're stronger, dissipate heat much better and provide rock-solid weapon fit. These precision rails enable consistent "repeat zero" of any accurately dimensioned devices attached to them. The 5 QD (quick detach) anti-rotate swivel ports that are located 2 per side, front and rear and 1 at the bottom front, prevent 360 degree rotation of the sling, for non-binding and twisting.

    Great Quality

    The build quality is great. The machining is precise. I found a bit of play after installing, but its 100% secure with the tabs interlocking with the serrated Delta ring nut. The design vents heat better than stock handgrip. Recommend wearing gloves or installing a foregrip to prevent hand fatigue

    Well made product, Was some what difficult to put on, but once installed looks and works fine. Only needs to be slightly shorter to install easier, but a good product all in all

    Went on perfect, no wiggle room a nice tight fight. Handles they attachments with a problem.

    I really like the look of this drop in. Change out was easy but would have been quicker with a quick diagram on orientation of the guard.

    Nice product, easy install no hardware required, remove stock and pop in the battle steel.

    Hand Guard

    First aftermarket product I've used on my Ruger AR. Came in a day early which was great. Extremely snug fit. Had to line it up and then "encourage" it to go in place with a rubber mallet. Looks good on the weapon and now I'm finally getting around to adding new components.

    Battle Steel hand guards

    Fairly easy to put on. Look great and function well. Not super tight fitting as portrayed. There is a small amount of wiggle in them. No problem though, it does not affect the performance. Delivery was very fast. Will shop here again.

M-LOK slots at the two, six and ten o'clock positions allow the attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections and other direct attach M-LOK accessories for the mounting of tactical lights, slings, grips, etc. A large front extension and lower lip protects the user from the hot front sight assembly and maximizes useable hand guard length.
