    Depends on your use.

I got this knife as a 'last resort' self defense for my vest at work. A lot of the other guys have been getting that claw type knife. There must have been some kind of tactical teaching on how great that claw knife is because everyone seems to be making it and getting it. I don't keep up on all the tactical things, but this appeared to be semi-concealable and reminds me of an old-style triangle shaped bayonet blade. The tip is sharp, but, you would not want to use this for any practice or utility use, I can see it dulling very quickly for that purpose. The drawback on this is that it says it has a MOLLE attachment, but it is exactly as it looks in the photo, not really MOLLE, just a long clip. This has caused the holster to draw out with the blade when practice drawing multiple times, it is NOT secure. I have to find a way to tie the holster to the vest in order for it to be secure. For me, this will serve the purpose I want it for, (after it is secured). I figure if the eagle talon claw type knife was great, they would have issued them in the USMC, but they only taught using regular knife-shaped blades like a M9 bayonet. This will function similarly, without being as dramatic as a Ka-Bar. Just wanted to point out my thoughts to anyone else with the same thoughts looking for a vest knife that isn't that new fandagled eagle talon thing that everyone and their mother's seem to be getting.
