    Must have tool

    This is a must have tool for anyone serious about taking care of their AR for the long term. Breaking down the BCG is vital and this is best tool I have seen for the job. It stows compact, fits in any rig, and scrapes carbon without shaving metal. Couple with a bore snake and you can field clean anywhere. Great Design.

    Works great

    I bought this more than a year ago when it was on sale and hadn’t used it yet, but today after taking my rifle to the range I decided to give it a thorough cleaning, which included cleaning the FailZero BCG. I disassembled the BCG and gave it a thorough hand cleaning with an aggressive gun cleaner and cotton patches, and followed that up with a one-hour bath in an ultrasonic cleaner. At the end of that, the water was so full of carbon that I couldn’t even see the BCG components inside it. However, upon inspection there were still spots with obvious caked-on carbon on the bolt and firing pin, so out came the Battle Steel Bolt & BCG Cleaner. After a few minutes, those parts were clean, and wiping the cleaner with a shop towel revealed lots of carbon. Next, I used the cleaner on the chamber lugs. I’m very pleased with how well the cleaner worked, and at the sale price I bought it at it is an excellent value.

    Product works great as designed. Regarding shipping times . . . I could have C.A.D. drawn the plans, flown to China, met with suits, found a design team, got them on board, stay until they tooled up and gave me a sample, flown back to the States and still received it sooner.
