Like its paddle-style gun holster cousins, this baton scabbard is designed to be securely carried over a regular dress belt, and easily attached or removed without having to remove the belt (it's a particular favorite among plainclothes investigators and undercover officers for these reasons). The scabbard provides secure retention and rapid presentation of an ASP Friction Loc Baton―whether the baton is in the collapsed or expanded position―and can be worn straight or at an angle on either the strong or reaction side.
