| The Colt M4
carbines are a versatile weapon system with proven combat
utility and performance providing the operator with the
confidence required to accomplish any mission. The Colt M4
carbines are the most compact of Colt’s 5.56mm family of
weapons. It features a four position sliding buttstock and is
designed for use wherever lightness, speed of action, mobility
and close quarters combat are required. It can be comfortably
carried, yet be instantly available to provide the power of a
5.56mm weapon. Applications in Close Quarters Combat, light
weight, ease of handling, accuracy and reliability are qualities
that make the Colt M4 carbines a valid choice of many special
units and mission specific assignments. The Colt M4 carbines
meets all of the Special Forces Front-Line Infantry,
Paratroopers, Unit Commanders, vehicle crews and numerous
security forces operational needs. Furthermore, Colt M4 carbines
often chosen over smaller less powerful sub-machine guns,
allowing for full 5.56mm power and accuracy, in a sub-machine
gun size weapon.
Regardless the application, the Colt M4 carbines will provide
the superior qualities that will enable the user to accomplish
the stated mission. The new concepts of rapid deployment,
mobility and increased firepower play a major part in the
overall strategy of modern warfare. Increased emphasis is now
put on small tactical units that engage in close combat and are
able to “get in and out” fast. Colt’s M4 Commando can

Features:
- Unique direct gas
operating system eliminates the conventional operating
rod normally associated with gas operating weapons.
- Accommodates the full
range of 5.56mm ammunition, including the NATO
M855/SS109 and U.S. M193, utilizing a rifling twist of 1/7".
- Straight-line
construction disperses recoil straight back to the
shoulder, increasing handling capabilities, especially
during auto fire.
- Target style rear sight
features dual apertures (0-200m, 300-600m) and adjusts for
both windage and elevation. Graduated elevation knob allows
for adjustments from 300 to 600 meters without need to
remember bullet drop.
- Cartridge case deflector
allows easy operation in both right and left handed
shooting positions for increased tactical applications.
- Muzzle compensator
further reduces muzzle climb, and helps eliminate flash and
dust signatures.
- Ejection port cover
protects the chamber from dust and mud when weapon is in
use.
- Field strips easily
without special tools for simple field user maintenance.
- Flat top receiver
allows for removable carry handle and easy mounting of
optics.
- Barrel configuration
allows launching of all standard rifle grenades, U.S and
NATO, without supplemental attachments.
- High strength materials
add durability to the forearm, buttstock and pistol grip for
greater comfort and effectiveness.
